An excerpt:
Nintendo is maximizing all its resources for a rapid replenishment program designed to consistently pump Wii consoles into the supply pipeline and keep retailers' shelves as filled as possible. In addition, Nintendo factories are working around the clock manufacturing the extraordinary new system. Nintendo is employing fleets of planes, cargo ships, trains and ground vehicles in each global market to maintain the best supply flow possible, starting in the Americas.

Ive underestimated the Gamer community 3 times already over the Wii (with near misses every single time)... I'm not dicking around this time... I'm camping out or at least spending the whole day jumping to every Circut City, Target and Best buy in the Phoenix area till i get it... Otherwise i wont have time to get it afterwards...
Phew. Well thanks for that update. I was starting to seriously worry about getting one at launch, or even this year. It's good to know they are addressing this concern buy being awesome.
I'm with you SSJ100 Matt. I was obviously too pacified by the "wiis for everyone!" atmosphere, and I got totally rocked at every pre-order I've tried. My plan now, thanks oddly enough to my mother, is to go to BJ's club. You have to have a card to shop there, it's not a likely place to look for games, and the one near me had a bunch of 360s on launch day. Best of all, they sell stuff at a discount. for $450, you get a premium 360, two controllers, and two games, PGR and one from the in store selection. Hope they rock something simliar for the Wii.
