Kinect Release information, Street Fighter X Tekken (and vice versa), Indie Games on Playstation Home, Rock Band 3 release info, Marvel vs. Capcom updates, Southpeak and Majesco lawsuit and Phantasy Star Universe updates all this week on the show where EVERY gamer has a voice - Orange Lounge Radio!

There is a surprising amount of gaming news coming out of comic-con this week, including one crossover fighter we were surprised to see: Street Fighter X Tekken. Of course, should this news be that surprising at all or was there hints about the games existance in the past? We jump into the evidence. Also, this week we revive a years old debate towards the end of our show-- is the controller better, or the keyboard and mouse better? You might be surprised where some of the hosts stand, although you will have to tune in to see why we started this debate anyway. Twitter topics, Phone calls, E-mails and much more round out the show where EVERY gamer has a voice: Orange Lounge Radio

RR-megaman

I know I haven't done one of these in a while... I thought it would be really difficult to top June and BEMANI month, with a whopping five massive articles back to back about my favorite note smashing series. But this week was Comic-Con, and since Capcom was there talking a little bit about the most interesting upcoming Megaman title I've ever seen - Megaman Universe, I thought I'd talk a little bit about the entire series that lead up to this epic-sounding game supposedly encompassing all things Megaman (and quite a bit of other Capcom nostalgia to boot, if the teaser trailer is any indication.)

So hit the jump to return to the year 200X!

(I googled this and found it was freely available online, read the article for details!!)

Okay, technically this one isn't from a videogame, but the Scott Pilgrim series IS getting a game, currently coming to the Playstation Network (and later on XBOX Live! Arcade) and it sounds like a videogame anyway, so I'm featuring it.

I do have to give a shoutout to MolotovCupcake on twitter, who had told me she discovered what the name of this track was (which plays at the end of one of the trailers for the upcoming movie, which in turn was based on the comic book series by Bryan Lee O'Malley.)

The comic book series is definetly one I recommend checking out, if you're into videogames at all (and if you listen to this show, I'd say that's at least 99% of you. :P) Scott Pilgrim is the guy everyone wants to be, in a garage band called Sex Bob-Omb, between jobs; and dating a cute highschool girl (Knives Chau)

That's when Ramona Flowers shows up, and things get really complicated (Seven evil exes complicated) What I thought was great about the series, besides the cutesy anime-styling of the characters, are the insane amount of classic videogame references littered throughout the comic. I've only read through the first half, but even in the first book there's some classic game references, and for you BEMANI fans (I know you're out there!) even a mention of drummania in the first volume!

Of course the motion picture looks to retain many of the videogame injokes, as evident by the soundtrack. This is the song that plays near the end of the first trailer, and definetly would be at home in a classic videogame. From googling it online so I could find it for myself, I discovered it was posted here! so if you like it, grab it for yourselves!

Scott Pilgrim vs. the World opens in theaters this August!

(For legal reasons I can't make this song available for download.)

When I say the name, King Kong and D. Jungle Girls, what comes to mind? Usually either 'Boom Boom Dollar' or the KOG G3 remix that appeared in Dance Dance Revolution 3rd MIX or DDR Extreme 2 on PS2, right?

This was the only other song they'v e ever had licensed in DDR, and most people don't remember it as fondly for whatever reason. But I loved it! It was definetly right at home alongside the other great tracks that 4th MIX had to offer, like HERO, Boys, B4U and all the other awesome songs.

And I totally wouldn't be against an 'X3 Edit' in a future DDR title. Just sayin'...
