I love these threads...
Here's my gaming rig:
The icon bar at the bottom contains the games and software I use the most. At last count, I have about 331GB of CD/DVD game images. Yikes! That's what happens when you don't delete anything.
I have 6 laptops with various screens. My kids' Shuttle rig has a Finding Nemo screen on it.

That's a huuuuge bar of icons Terry.
You balance your life quite well. Not many can balance a family, a job, travel, and of course your love for all things geekery.

Thanks Jason. It's taken a while to figure out and no small credit goes to my wife and family for putting up with me while I worked it out.
That's the secret folks: buy-in. If you and your significant other have incompatible interests (my wife has zero interest in most of my geekery) then at least get him/her to understand why it's important to you instead of working on converting him/her. If they want to learn more or even convert, they need to come to you. It's like witnessing, in a religious context.

I love the way your desktop is full of anti-virus programs. Makes me value my Mac even more!
But I gotta admit, that skin is very shiny. Where'd ya get it from?

I stumbled upon the theme at graphicstyles.org. Graphic Styles is a nice site to check out if you want to spice up your desktop. It's funny as hell to use the mac theme.
Here you go!
Genesis Visual Style
Here's a list of other good sites for visual themes:
customize.org
