i can't get past the Psyducks on Route 210 because i dont know where to find Cynthia (who gives you the SecretPotion)

ok awsome, but now i have another problem.

the next gym leader i have to battle is Fantina, but the thing is, she's not in the gym and i don't know where to find her.

Have you beat both Veilstone and Pastoria gyms and talked to Cynthia's Grandma in Celestic town? And have you at least won 1 Pokemon contest?

i've done all of those except talked to Cynthia's Grandma because i can't get into Celestic town without the badge that let's me use Strength

You don't need strength. First, visit the Great Marsh/Safari game and get Defog from the person at the gate. THEn, go to Valor Lakefront and chase a galactic grunt around, you'll meet Cynthia then and she'll give you the secret potion, which let's you go and get into Celestic Town

I beat the game and haven't picked up the HM for Defog. As far as I know, getting the HM doesn't trigger any events. Most events are triggered when you beat gyms, kick Team Galactic's ass, or complete the Sinnoh Dex. I hate how this game comes up with stupid excuses to lock you out of towns. "Oh, there's some sick Psyducks blocking the road, and for some reason you can't fight them and catch them, so you need medicine to get through them." "Oh, there's a big power outage in this town, so you can't go in until later in the game after you've beaten 7 gyms." See, the game's story was there, but the main quest didn't flow at all. This game always leaves you guessing where in the game to go to continue the quest. On top of that, you have to come back with all the weak HM moves at certain points late in the game and post-game. Was it this bad in the GBA games?

like, i totally forgot about Team Galactic....I've been done with this game since i bought it, like literally! i beat it in 24 hours! and now i have almost 170 hours on it. THATS MORE THEN ALL MY OTHER POKEMON GAMES COMBINED! and i have blue,yellow,gold,silver,saphire,and leaf green.

(okay, so i dont have more time than all those combined...but to me it seems like it)

Im getting so bored, walking around doing random battles and what not...
and i only have a few friends, and they are hardly.....actually NEVER ON!
so i never battle anyone.

and....there was a story line to the game...i didnt notice...i was just told to go to the next gym and win, thats all i ever got out of the game.
