For those that were listening a few months ago, you no doubt heard me talk on air about my experience playing not a video game but a whole different type of game-- an Online Reality Game. ORG's are "reality" games based off of tv shows like survivor. They do take a bit of time to play, but no more than an MMO, and it can be a real fun psychological game to play.
Anyway, Survivor: LiveJournal 12 is casting here at this page (I played in Survivor LJ 11) : http://community.livejournal.com/survivorlj/553462.html ... you have to have a livejournal account to play, as LJ offers a pretty good built in service to stay afoot on the game via the friends page. I'm bringing it to you guys as I'd really like to see the community grow with new faces.
Just plan to dedicate a little time every day to play, (honestly though I spent just as much time playing SLJ11 as I would warcraft) but if you ever wondered what playing survivor would be like (minus the starvation) here's a good chance... I'll be rooting for any OLR peeps I see in the game

I've only heard of something similar, 'Alternate Reality Game's, like the 'ilovebees' one for HALO 2... having serious codebreaking knowledge (and hell, just knowledge in general) is a must.
I would've liked something like that back when 'The Mole' was still around OLRmy since 6/23/2002!

There's still some hardcore mole fans out there that play Mole ORG's... check out www.orgreloaded.com , one of the other players in the survivor game who was really nice (i felt bad voting her out hehe) runs the site and i see mole games advertised there once in a while.
