Well I found out how to do the Mario Kart DS hack. I just told skie (answer your IM! :p) how it's done so here...
Not Linksys... Ralink. And it's not compatible with Nintendo WFC.
After some serious consideration, and since everyone is asking nicely, I've decided to explain how this works: All you have to do is modify the WFC course list table at 0x02153A4C. This can be done by either editing the ROM (you will have to decompress the ARM9 executable) or by writing a loader, which is what I did. (In my loader, the header is hard-coded, because it cannot be reread after the ARM9 BIOS sets up the card encryption and begins reading data. And the header is needed because PassMe/FlashMe/WiFiMe destroy important parts of it that are required to load the game. This was a bad design on the part of the developers of each said hack. It just means the loader only works with one game at a time until FlashMe can better handle this situation.) The loader can apply the patches at the end of the ARM9 crt0, when the executable is completely decompressed into memory. Good luck to all who attempt this hack, and hopefully it will help stop the silly rumours about this hack being a network capture utility. Also, I encourage anyone intending to write a loader to keep it to themselves. We don't need a loader program that can be modified for online cheaters!
Here are the available course values with [internal] course names. Obviously, most of these will not work at all. I have marked the "WFC-unavailable" courses with asterisks, however.
Code: 0x01 - old_yoshi_gc 0x02 - old_mario_gc 0x03 - luigi_course 0x04 - dokan_course 0x05 - test1_course 0x06 - donkey_course 0x07 - wario_course 0x08 - nokonoko_course 0x09 - old_baby_gc 0x0A - old_mario_sfc 0x0B - old_momo_64 0x0C - old_koopa_agb * 0x0D - old_peach_agb 0x0E - old_luigi_gc 0x0F - old_noko_sfc * 0x10 - old_frappe_64 0x11 - clock_course * 0x12 - mansion_course 0x13 - airship_course * 0x14 - cross_course 0x15 - test_circle 0x16 - bank_course 0x17 - old_hyudoro_64 * 0x18 - ridge_course * 0x19 - mario_course 0x1A - garden_course * 0x1B - desert_course 0x1C - town_course 0x1D - rainbow_course 0x1E - snow_course 0x1F - beach_course 0x20 - koopa_course * 0x21 - pinball_course * 0x22 - stadium_course 0x23 - old_donut_sfc * 0x24 - old_choco_64 0x25 - old_luigi_agb * 0x26 - old_kinoko_gc * 0x27 - old_choco_sfc 0x28 - old_sky_agb 0x29 - mini_block_course 0x2A - mini_block_64 0x2B - mini_dokan_gc 0x2C - mini_stage1 0x2D - mini_stage2 0x2E - mini_stage3 0x2F - mini_stage4 0x30 - mr_stage1 0x31 - mr_stage2 0x32 - mr_stage3 0x33 - mr_stage4 0x34 - Award 0x35 - StaffRoll 0x36 - StaffRollTrue

I have no content comments, you've said it all! I do compliment you, or rather your listeners, for the non-USA feedback. Loved the UK and Australia comments because of the slight-but-significant cultural differences. I hope the people in other countries continue to write in.

I was expecting more festivities for the 50th episode, or maybe some free porn.
Hope you folks get better soon.
How happy is your house?

I was hoping for some sort of top-50 list, but instead I got examples of the top-50 viral and bacterial infections. 50 is too long, anyway. Are you planning any silly year-end stuff?
I can commiserate a little bit, I've been suffering from allergies for three months. That's nothing like the plague, so I didn't get any of Jamie's cool Zonk-Me drugs.

We might do something more festive for our 1 year show but honestly, we're egotistical enough we don't need to do much more to inflate our egos, lol.
We'll do something "special"ish for the years end, especially considering christmas week is a dead as hell news week usually. Probably discuss our favorite of the year. I really don't like "best" lists so it'll be "our favorite" lists

Best lists really are "favorites" list, anyway. Once you do your thing, it'll be interesting to see what the listeners and readers come up with.

haha, it's just a regular sausage-fest!!
No need to get all festive anyway, as long as there's another 50 shows to churn out from the OLR headquarters I think that would be plenty. I just can't get over how much personality is in the show, it just makes it enjoyable. Just keep up the good work. Even with my depleting interest in games lately, it's still a blast to hear the show come Monday(or Tuesday, whenever I get around to it).
How happy is your house?
