Biggest dissapointment to learn from the show:
Rob Roberts is NOT the unlockable character in Mario Kart Also, to note, Mario Kart GBA had a battle mode. It was a very crappy and boring level setup though. Plus, it did not work well with the small screen. I think one of the main problems with the GBA MK game is that they didn't make it feel right, you can't see enough of what you need to. This is a real problem in the battle mode especially when you need to see everything. The DS game is also the first time you can play a 1-player battle game with the computer(I think), usually the other karts must be human controlled. Just from messing around with the 1-player battles, I didn't think they were too bad. It's not as fun as playing people, but it's ok. At least they fixed all the problems with the GBA(lousy control and not being able to see much).
I'm going to be honest, I feel like we've OD'ed on XBOX 360 news, lol... I know your feedback was a little tounge in cheek though but needless to say, we didn't get an invite
I can't put my finger on what's "wrong" with mario kart GBA. By all standards it should be a great game, but I think you're right, the controls sucked, it wasn't easy to do multiplayer at all, really... It didnt' have the fun factor. I'v eplayed MKDS more than I have Mario Kart GBA, and I've only owned MKDS for about 5 days.
haha, I've played MKDS more then the GBA one as well, I've had it for 2 days. I only have 3 more trophies to get to unlock ROB, I may do that tonight.
I live in a small town with a Wal-Mart, I'm gonna give it a shot tomorrow and try and pick up a 360 system. I'm hoping it being a small town there will be a system or 2 left, I just don't see there being the "sell-out" demand here. And then, I'll go home and list them on ebay, because I'm a whore.
Australia and Europe is hands down the worst place to live if you like games due to their crappy delayed releases and inflated retail prices(especially Australia). I really don't understand why the companies do that.
refering to LORD VOLDEMORT "Dont give him a free plug!" does that imply that you would plug him if someone payed you?
Yay, I got read. Yes, I hear these podcasts this late just so I can stay awake.
Although you got my point sidetracked a bit, yes? I mean, some people have those rare consoles that just last but I was mainly talking about along the lines of what happened with the 360 and having it just turn off. Now the remedies for these problems are getting more rediculous: you have to keep the 360's power supply in mid-air for full proper ventilation. Sheesh. And possibly another minor point, but Nintendo should have already been mentioned, for obvious reasons. The Revolution will be delicious, but do we hold off? =(
