Pac Man Confusion

Postby robbway » Mon Jun 18, 2007 6:17 am

The "first-in-25-years" Pac Man wasn't the first sequel to Pac Man as you pointed out. If you read the news carefully, and it was hard to catch, it was the first time the creator of Pac Man designed new mazes and gameplay in 25 years.

Also, the "big announcement" that turned out to be Pac Man C.E. was touted as something important that will become part of video game history. The meant "history" as in "from" history, aka Pac Man, not that it will "make" history.

Puzzle Quest is the first game I realized I was addicted to. You'll want to play it all the time. So yeah, it's good, but it eats your time away so quickly!

FIRED! (<3): (and on cue, 'Let me play' is on the station for the hundredth time since the dancemania came back... why couldn't 'Destiny' get this kinda airtime? >_<)

Anyway:

So they finally nailed CPS3, well that really only leaves what, the non-SF related titles? (Red Earth, Warzard, Jojo)

And the Wife Swap: gamers, I might watch, LOL.

Wife Swap

Postby robbway » Thu Jun 21, 2007 12:56 pm

I'd love Wifeswap if the non-gaming family also thought that videogamers were the (other) Devil's Playground. I can't believe any show on Disney's ABC would be called "Wifeswap." What's next "Snuff Film?"

Anyway, a response to Rob's comment on not wanting classics remade on the DS: so right! I have the Konami and Atari collections. Atari sucked! If you want an example on how to dissapoint the older gamers, there it is. Konami's doesn't suck, except none of the graphics modes work very well. They scaled the screens but there's a roundoff error that causes all sorts of problems. DS classic games are not good.
