Error in email notification

Postby gameboyguy13 » Sat Feb 12, 2005 2:43 pm

In the email notifications, the link is wrong. The link refers to, for example,
http://www.orangeloungeradio.com/module ... &p=916#916
The correct link would be
http://www.orangeloungeradio.com/phpnuke/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&p=916#916

Hmmm... looks like that was my boo boo.
Hope you're subscribed to this thread :P. Try it out for me please?
(I'm actually not entirely sure if this can be fixed the way I tried, due to the whole "YOU CAN'T ACCESS THIS FILE DIRECTLY, AWAY WITH YOU!" design of php nuke.

If you mean you did something to fix it, well, it didn't work. Sorry.

I told you to bump the thread... so I could get a copy of the e-mail myself :P.

Someone (JUST ONE) respond to this please. I need to see the e-mail generated.

Don't know if you've worked on it since the last post or request for me to bump it, but it's not working still.

I think whoever made bbtonuke is an idiot. Because /phpnuke is located in EVERY single url reference, but the phpBB e-mail generation code isn't using it *sigh*.

I guess I'll go crack away at the source next :-\.

How's the source cracking coming? Hope you get it fixed. Hmm, another idea: when I click the faulty link, it says on the resulting error page that a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. I'm not sure how the site is coded, but it sounds to me like you could tinker with that and maybe set it to forward any requests for pages like ".com/modules.php?" to go automatically to ".com/phpnuke/modules.php?" ... would that work?

Looking for old episodes that aren't on your feed reader or the OLR PSP site? I'm probably one your best bets. ^.^

I think I fixed it.
Horribly hacky, but there's no reason it should be messed up in the first place -_-.
Stupid nuke.

(By the way, hi multi-month bump!)

Don't know about you, but in my email I got http://www.orangeloungeradio.com/phpnuk ... =1481#1481, which gave me:
The Website wrote:Not Found
The requested URL /phpnukemodules.php was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

*squints at URL* It's because there's no "/" between phpnuke and modules.php in that one.

No, it's because my first fix didn't work.
The notification for this one, however, should work.

Sorry, should have pointed that out :P.
