PS2 Online help

Postby lordkaosu » Fri Dec 16, 2005 1:45 pm

My PS2 doesn't go online very well for some reason so I'm hoping someone can help me.

I use Qwest(the phone company i the area) DSL. I'm using the standard modem they sell/rent you. It seems to have problems logging on and takes 15 minutes. I'm guessing it has something with the ports or something to why it doesn't connect like it should.

I say this because I get a lot of "cannot connect" messages in Burnout Revenge unless I put in 3 ports that EA lists unter an online menu in my "ports forwarding" menu in the DSL option menu(for the modem itself). I would think it's something simlar for the PS2. Unfortunately, I went through the broadband adapter paperwork and found nothing. Anyone know what I might try?

It takes me 15 minutes to log into SSX3 and I am unable to download Action Replay updates for some reason(it just tells me attempt failed).

I'm a bit interested in the upcoming PSO coming out but I need to make sure my PS2 is up and running with no problems first.
