Ofcourse ;] But more people know who they are and listen to them, rather than pink floyd who many have heard of, but not everyone listens to them nowadays But id like to see them in GH. What about The Doors?
Umm you seem to forget that all of The Doors songs were in the 60's and 70's and nowhere near the 80's... PF would be nice but sadly i havent listened to any of their albums after "The Wall" which i think was in the late 70's... But what i would most like to see would be: Def Leppard AC/DC (pretty much use the whole Black Album lol) Metalica Motley Crue (If it has "Kick Start my heart" then it wins) Van Halen Slayer (Raining Blood = this versions Free Bird) Scorpions Ratt (just Round and Round) Ozzy (but already done before) Billy Idol The Police (like Ozzy) U2 (I guess) and finally Guns N' Roses It would be nice if all of these groups and more got onto the game but i would be happy for half... And also Damn the haters
I'm all for 80's songs that were used in other games like raining blood and kickstart my heart (watch the opening to GT3). Obviously they worked well in one game and it should here.
Fuckin' signed on all of those. (While I personally would be more interested in the hair-metal stuff, I understand including all the other ones. ) DT OLRmy since 6/23/2002!

For Pete's sake people... no mention of Poison?! 8O
"Nothin' But a Good Time" would rock so hard. "Walk This Way" by Aerosmith, anyone? "In My Dreams" or "Dream Warriors" by Dokken, for sure. "The Final Countdown", if just for the solo. That's right. I give my choices 2 Aqua Net cans up!
Shit i did forget Poison...
"Walk This Way" would be nice but it was released in the 70's... People get that confused since Run DMC covered it in the 80's... Also i would like to see KISS on it... But since most of their good stuff was in the 70's they could only really put 1 song on it which would be "Lick it Up"... It was their only good song from the 80's in my opinion... Then again it was after they ditched the makeup...
I think that was 90's, it was on the gen X station in San Andreas. How about some Quiet Riot? And I would absolutely piss myself if there was The Cure. I really hope the vocals in this one will be better because I can't help but cringe when I hear "Heart Shaped Box" and "Killing in the Name". Since Neversoft will be taking over soon that should get rid of most of the covers and we'll mostly have the real thing.
Actually Cult of Personality was in the late 80's... But i do agree the vocals do suck and theres no excuse for them messing it up... But then again this isn't lyrics hero ...
And as for Quiet Riot... Im not a huge fan of them... They got big off of a cover song (Come on Feel the Noise)... Aside from that song all i know is Mental Health (was on San Andreas too) and thats it...
I could quote many occasions where you have done exactly this. I really personally don't like Pink Floyd. I dunno, just like the Beatles, everyone I know like them, but I don't. But yeah, ssj100matt, those are some of the best I can think of. But U2 back in the '80s weren't all that hot, save for The Joshua Tree, IMO. The Cure is the shit. And I think The Cult wouldn't be too bad for a game like Guitar Hero.
I would love to have all of these bands in an 80s Guitar Hero. Also Dio since I've been listening to him lately. Yay power chords.
Also this is an excellent chance for them to capitalize on their Guitar Villain trademark and include 80s villains like Cobra Commander or Megatron as playable characters. Or Shredder. Duh. Why didn't I think of that earlier.
