DDR Supernova

Hey, we haven't forgotten our roots as a Music Video Game station. Talk about DDR/IIDX and all that note smashing here.

Postby sephiroth1215 » Sun Mar 26, 2006 3:11 am

Look here: http://www.konami.com/gs/gameinfo.php?id=176

There is something very important on the bottom: "Designed to support linking features to future iterations of the series for home video gaming consoles."

I think this could give a hint at the memory card issue. This sounds like it will support PS2 memory cards, or the small possibility of USB.

That doesn't really mean anything.

It means there will be some means for transportation. They *might* just rehash PSX memory cards.

Let's hope they don't...

Eh it was going to happen regardless for a 360 version but I honestly didn't think it would happen so soon! Universe now is the most interesting to me because that means that there has to be a new concept and probably a large game implied by the name. What could they possibly do to show the difference between current and next gen DDR?!

Heh wait till a PS3 release......I wonder what they would do with all that space.

They barely use the space they have currently.

But they have the options now. A ISO of DDR Extreme jp for PS2 which had around 110 songs, was just under 800 megs. All 300 songs of supernova could easily fit on one DVD.

That also depends on if superNOVA will actually have more than 3 movies since Extreme 2 have a different movie for each song.
