I don't play much of it but like every music game.......PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE!! Also you can try starting on 5key if you haven't already.

I've actually found that playing 5 keys really doesn't help much in the long run. 5-key and 7-key have a different playstyle to them and if you start with 5 key it can be difficult to adjust to those 2 extra keys.

Beginner mode can help quite a bit as you'll get a good selection of songs with easier notecharts. Work through the beginner mode stuff and they you should be able to start playing more light7 stuff. As you start passing a level of songs start playing the next one and keep trying to progress.

As you play you'll notice that some songs the same level seem to be vastly different on difficulties. This is usually due to whoever did the song, TaQ and LED generally being the worst offenders towards the hard side of things.

Hope you have fun playing the game.

If you have 6th style.
Play drill mode.
Pass EVERYTHING (except for a few of the challenge missions in level 3... AUGH).

You'll be sufficiently talented by that time.

I really miss 6th style :-\.

yeah, 6th was nice to start playing on. It a shame I was mostly too busy to ever play over most of the summer as I could have been playing a few anothers by now.
