Yes, that's right, there is a way to get past the Internet Browser password protection on the PS3. By using Folding@Home, I've found you can access a limited version of the browser (minus multiple tabs and plugin support) by going to the Team Statistics and then finding a link to Google or some other search engine and then go to other websites and use the slighty less helpful version of the browser.
And to think that Sony bundled capability to bypass their security right inside the system itself... stupid, stupid, stupid.
Not that most people care or have even looked twice at the security controls, but now any 8 year old with a logical, thinking mind can go destroy it and get their porn with Sony's help...
I wonder if the Folding@Home team will realize this and fix it in a new patch.
