I was originally going to write an article about the PC-98 series, but the site ate it and I don't feel like redoing all of it. :(  (Long story short it had a lot of great games -- like the first version of Konami's Policenauts, the Lethal Weapon-inspired sci-fi epic, and some 18+ titles too) But I did want to give a quick heads-up for what I've got in store for next month:

BEMANI Month!

That's right, Retro Rearview is going to celebrate Orange Lounge Radio's 8th anniversary by taking a look at some of the games that we talked about back during our humble beginnings in June 2002!:

• Guitar Freaks/drummania

Of course, if you've listened to this week's OLR, you heard DarkSakura talk quite a lot about one of the lesser-known BEMANI games, Keyboardmania... so if you want to learn more about that game, download this week's podcast! (#368) I only hope my articles will be as in-depth, though.
