Episode 291 -- August 11th, 2008

The game Braid is quite the hot topic in the gaming community this week, and the hosts of OLR vary in their opinions of the game during our gaming weeks. The live chatters add another perspective to this weeks show with their comments. Finally after much anticipation, the first Homestar Runner video game is being released on the Wii and PCs this week! Rock Band 2 on the Wii promises not to skimp on the features, but will future Wii motion technology necessarily be exclusive to Nintendo? Folks hack the Wii in the most unusual ways, and do we REALLY need yet another sudoku game?

There is music gaming news everywhere you look in Part B this week. There sounds like there will surprisingly be a few really great tracks in Konamis Rock Revolution, but nothing is as awesome as Journey and Heart touring together! An Age of Conan GM cyber story has many people in lolz this week, but find out the strong opinion of one OLR host on why the whole joke is ruined. Eye of Judgment gets a price reduction so maybe it can finally sell a million copies, and hey, did you hear the Gphoria winners were announced? Hey... where are you going...? Come back!

All this and more on another episode of Orange Lounge Radio, the LIVE video game talk show where every gamer has a voice!

Braid is very epic indeed, my brother's usual forte is stuff like WOW and COD4, so to see him purchase the full game after trying the demo, was a bit of a shock.

also, MISTYLINUX <3 :D

That AOC story was kinda funny... shouldn'tve happened, but damn.

I don't have a 360, so I'm kinda not getting Braid :(
And is the G-phoria awards that bad? I was thinking of checking it out on G4, but I digressed...
Waiting for the day DDR X gets released...

I watched G-phoria this year and enjoyed it, it was just done on X-play rather than being a giant to-do like they used to be.
