Orange Lounge Radio 233 -- 5/26/07 -- Live at Fanime

Postby skie » Sun May 27, 2007 9:09 pm

There is only one part to the show this week there will be no part B

Why is this weeks show so short, you ask? Well, each Fanime Panel is given typically only one hour to do their thing... factor into that the folks before us ran a bit long and we needed time for setup and takedown of equipment and you're left with about 45 minutes of show. If you enjoyed our Fanime show, let the Fanime staff know... maybe we can get more time next year!

Taped at Fanime 2007 in front of a live audience!... Super Smash Bros Brawl Musicians... Geometry Wars Galaxies... Megaman and Paper Mario for Virtual Console... PS3 firmware updated for 1080p movies and upscaled games... Sixaxis to get a rumble feature this year?... Grand Theft Auto IV Special Edition... Release Dates... Sony sued over Blu-Ray... 360 time travels then causes fire and kills a baby (or maybe not)... Sony shipping 80 GB PS3s to Korea... Rtype tactics on the PSP... The SIMS movie... Ask Orange Lounge Radio LIVE... and more!

*pulls up a fanime schedule for 07* what day/time was last year's panel compared to this year's? *is kinda considering ditching ACen next year ( :O ) and getting a slightly later vacation to make part of next year's fanime* >.> based on the time this year's panel was, i could maybe take the bus home from the area, and get home sunday evening or something

EDIT:
... i don't think those people were enthusiastic enough. either that or the mics(s) sucked ass >.>

EDIT 2: ... If you have no life... ^^; :P

Looking for old episodes that aren't on your feed reader or the OLR PSP site? I'm probably one your best bets. ^.^

You guys got a lot in for the short period of time you had.

Good show, and I love the live feel of it!

Well considering that I could barely hear anything the OLR gang was saying, I say it's the latter.

Is the audio really that bad? I know it was a little quieter than usual but when I was boosting some of the *really* quiet audio in post production, it seemed do-able...

ah well, the challenges of doing a VERY live show. not a lot of casts do it and i can see why :P

It isn't THAT bad, but yeah, I do understand it was completely live show and stuff like that happens.
And practice makes perfect, so practice some more

I blame most of it on my minidisc player. I've only used it a few times. Still learning.
