I don't know about Panel du Pon, but Loki's right about Puzzle du Pon. It was Puzzle Bobble (Bust-a-Move in USA), but each level had a puzzle piece in it. The object was to free the puzzle piece by eliminating the bubbles around it. You didn't have to clear the board. Once you had the piece, it would automatically go in the right place and you'd build some object. It really was a poor attempt to add a new element to Puzzle Bobble. Bust-a-move 1 and 2 are on GameTap's Neo-Geo, but not Puzzle du Pon.
