Any official notices that don't make the front page will be here.

Oh hi, bumping of old thread!

I tend to not put much stock in the MGC Gamerpic Scout numbers for this very reason - that's very unusually high. Although using 360voice.com's Gamerpic tracker, it shows that yeah, a lot of people use the pic.

And I would wager to guess that 95% of the people that are using the wolfie stencil have absolutely no clue what it stands for. They just think it looks cool. (There are about triple the amount of people that MGC claims is using my gamerpic than what download my show each week.)

I think the trick to getting high numbers is - don't use letters. The most popular ones are the ones that are just an icon and can have multiple meanings - best example being Kropotkin and Hendrix's Game Review icon which has the US and UK flags with a 360 controller joining them together. That can mean so much to many people, and only a few of it's users know what it actually represents.

So that's why I think the wolfie stencil has high users...Because people think it looks cool. The list of people using it on 360voice include a lot of people with wolf-references in their name.

Well I doubt we could've gotten away with using the white 'O' 'cause I think that's prolly infringement of Orange Lounge (the group)'s copyrights.

But I like the logo we do have, if I had a 360 and an XBL account I'd use it, absolutely. :P

Actually, we could have used the white O (you see it on the right side of the banner at the top of each website page)... this was a graphic created by an ex of mine who was in graphic design school at the time we launched our very first website. He wouldn't sue us, I have too much dirt on him :D hahahaha no just messin.

Oh well, lesson learned, lol... to be honest, I'm estatic even 5 people are using the graphic. It's neat to just be able to say we have an official xbox live gamerpic.

I have OLR as my public gamerpic. The design you went with is enough to advertise the podcast on allgames. I like it.

I must say it's pretty cool to have a gamerpic that actually kinda means something.

Plus it has the pixel art stuff that I love! :D
