Well not sure exactly when all of them will come out but eventually so I will be happy to try alot of these games but of course I will prolly wait till I see how good they are before I buy them but its still enough for me to want the PS3 not to mention the games on the WII.

Here is a list and possible release date some may of been cancelled but there are still enough to make 20 or 30 even though I included games on the Wii as my picks.

ohh yeah Unreal Tournament 2007 that would be my first pick but its comming out in 2007 not a launch title.

Hmmm... looking at that list, I'd say 80% of those games are also on 360, and some of them, like RR7 and Full Auto 2, Probably will have a similar game of some sort on 360 or Wii, with a different name. (IE RR8 on 360 and Wii or something two months after RR7 release.

Since the PS3 isn't that much better than 360 hardware-wise, I don't see a game that is REALLY going to convince me to get a PS3. (Believe me, if it has good games, I'd be more than happy to get one. Heck, I have a Dreamcast and the only games I ever bought for it till this day are Soul Caliber and House of the Dead 2 with the lightgun. So I am more than happy to buy the system for a game or 2 if it is good enough. And so far, the PS3 just doesn't seem to have those "WOW, I gotta get me one of these $600 console to play this!" kind of game. While the 360 has more good games than I had hoped for. (Burnout, Dead or Alive, Ghost Recon, Call of Duty, Chromehounds, and the next on the list, Saint's Row and Dead Rising.)

And as soon as the next PS2 price drop comes, I'm getting one. I gotta get in on some of that Final Fantasy, Resident Evil, and Kingdom Hearts action.

BTW, you do know that Unreal Tournament is most likely gonna be on 360 right? There was a Joystiq story on it, I'm too lazy to find the link.

Again im not out to convince you to buy one you asked me to name games that are comming out for the PS3 so I did.

XBOX works for you and a later release for these games is ok for you too but I do think that its less than 80% of them that will appear there for not alot of them are XBOX fan choices.

Yes I am aware of Mark Rein and his mention of a possible revision on the XBOX but sorry thats not saying much cause he allready stated in almost the same sentance that the PS3 was the best system to put UT2007 on.

And for my part I never owned a XBOX it might make me biased to the fact but I have never wanted one either thats the reason I accept the playstation as my console of choice for games.

I do own other systems even computers but I only see an XBOX as a knock off and not a original.

ALL of the multiplatform games are being release at the same date, except for Madden '07 and Fight Night Round 3, which comes on out 360 BEFORE PS3. So if you are trying to say that 360 get game releases later than PS3, then you are very much mistaken.

BTW, out of the 60 or so games on that list that I could actually find on Google, about 40 of them are also on 360.

i do count around 20 or more that are only for PS3 but that list is leaving out other games that were out on PS2 that also can play on the PS3 and will end up as remakes on the PS3 multiplatform or not tho not sure where are the games worth it for the XBOX 360.

For all the games I have seen comming out for it that look good are going to be on the PS3 anyhow not sure where this is going after all you wanted to know what games were comming out for the PS3.

You must have misunderstood me, I asked you which 20-30 games made you say you want a PS3.

Really? Interesting how you can base a console purchase based on a whole bunch of games that you a) Don't know anything about and/or b) Are multiplatform. No offense, it looks like you just copy-pasted off some retailer's release list. With titles like "People Can Fly Project", "Nihilistic (of Marvel Nemesis fame) Next-Gen Project", and "Project Grey Company" (Which is now called Lord of the Rings: The White Council BTW). I don't see how that list can help anyone make a purchase of a $600 console. And you said that you were a DVD collector and the PS3 was going to help you. How? Are you going to make the switch to Blu-Ray? Or are you going to buy a $2000+ 1080p-capable HDTV to watch your old DVDs with slightly sharper graphics? And if you are making the switch to Blu-Ray, consider these scenarios:

HD-DVD and Blu-Ray fails: PS3 owners are stuck with a console using an expensive and obsolete format.
HD-DVD and Blu-Ray both win: HD-DVD is cheaper, and from the looks of things, Blu-Ray is selling worse than HD-DVD is.
HD-DVD wins: Quite obviously, bad for the PS3.
Blu-Ray Wins: The only good scenario for Sony.

So what I'm trying to say is, what appeal is there to a console that costs the most, is a bet from Sony that they are letting the consumers take the fall if they lose, has the most expensive games, and not very many "must-buy" exclusives. (Only Final Fantasy 13 and Gran Tourismo comes to mind at the moment.)

Anyway, this whole thread has turned into a silly argument that has absolutely no bearing on the original topic. After you post your response to this post Greywulf, I reconmmend we refrain from posting about our opinions on PS3 and the 360. You keep your pre-order for a PS3, and I'll keep my 360 and buy a PS2 at the PS3 release. Because I can only imagine how ridiculously cheap PS2s and old games like Final Fantasy, Guitar Hero, and Kingdom Hearts are going to become. All I did was re-post an article from Joystiq, and this whole thread almost turned into a flame fest.

Suggestion to Sony, go to thesaurus.com look up achievement, and then choose any of those. The console war is going to end with Sony as a bottom feeder, its obvious what do they have that MS doesn't have? Blu-ray?
