Saw Advent Children and the 1 episode OVA set before FF7 yesterday damn they're good!

o_O Re-make maybe, sorry. I loved FF7 with all my being, and still do, but I hear the "remake" is simply the same area, some similar charecters, but totally differant in one main way.

Our beloved Vincent? Is now the main charcter, and everyone gets to take a wild trip with him while he was a turk with Shinra

No no I believe you're thinking about Dirge de cerebus (sp?), the action game. This is an actual complete remake of the original 7.

Dirge of Cer's orgional idea was to be a re-make, however it is'nt. It can't be, seeing as it's going to be placed a few years after Advent Children. Yoshinori Kitase said "We toyed with several differant FF charcters, like Yuna from FFX and Irvine from FFVIII, but Vincent from FFVII made te most sense. FFVII's brooding, vaugely undead marksman Vincent Valentime plays a supporting role in Advent Children but takes center stage in Dirge, which is set about a year after Advent."
