What are some examples of underhyped and overhyped games of 2008. My underhyped game would definitely be Fallout 3, it reminds me of Oblivion and looks like a great game. As far as the overhyped games go, I would have to say Spore, Spore is way too ambitious and I think it's going to disappoint people when It comes out. What are some of yours?

I don't think they've really begun the marketing push for Fallout 3. It's still over 6 months out. I'm sure you'll see more when we get closer to it being released.

Gears of Super Smash Spore Nukem Forever coming 2008......or 2009......maybe.

I have another underhyped game, Tom Clancy's Endwar, I read the EGM cover story and I was simply blown away. Ever since then the game has not gotten much press at all.

Underhyped has to be Killzone 2.

Underhyped game - Alan Wake.

I wanted this game since they showed it at E3 back when they unveiled the Xbox 360. I love survival horror games and this game looks fantastic to me. Microsoft threw money around and got this game exclusive to Windows/Xbox,so it must be worth something.

Overhyped Game - Spore

This game will not live up to the talk. For what was promised I honestly do not think Spore is going to fill what people have hyped. It seems like one of those games that will be great,but still be labeled a disappointment or over hyped because it didn't deliver on the insane level people have built up for the game.
