Duke Nukem Never = most pathetic waste of developers' time in the history of video games.

Save it until the game actually comes out, or the project is officially shitcanned.

bet they're going to get halfway, then decide to go back to the beginning and start from scratch again and say, "CRAP! we messed up on this part! AND WE NEED THIS PART TO WORK IN ORDER FOR THE WHOLE GAME TO WORK!"

That trailer looks very CGI-ed.

There really is no hope for this game though.

How hilarious would it be if it finally came out and was mind blowing? Mind blowing as in the quality of Bioshock or Mario Galaxy.

If this game takes it's self seriously, it'll fail big time. Duke Nukem forever needs to do what Duke Nukem does best, have lots of cheesy one liners and LOTS OF PIG COPS!!

Bioshock wasn't mind blowing. Mario Galaxy is absolutely fun, but not mind blowing either. If given the choice, I still prefer Mario 64.

Damn man,you must be really jaded to games.

What games did you think were mind blowing? I personally lapped up Bioshock's atmosphere and art,I thought it was fantastic.

Ace Combat has a GREAT feel. Pretty boring story (mostly due to voice acting), but the gameplay and what not is great.

Mindblowing games?

I'm not sure I could really list any. And If I did, and you asked me again, I'd come up with a different set of games.

BioShock started out as a great game, but it just dwindled, and got too annoying. Not to mention hacking so many damn times. Crackdown was the same way, the game itself freaking rocked, but by the time you got to the third island and had to scale the tower, the game was already redundant.

I loved, LOVED Crackdown, but the ending just killed it for me. I beat the game, and haven't really touched it sense. I did once after the updates, ran around randomly online with a friend of mine. But when it came down to it, and there was the additional 'paid for' content, I gave up. A lot of Crackdown 'beneath the surface' just pissed me off.

Hell, I haven't touched BioShock since IT'S updates came out, either!

I'm not at all jaded to games. Super Paper Mario is a blast (still need to beat that), I'm pretty frustrated with this mission I'm stuck on on Trauma Center, Trauma Center: New Blood looks awesome, and I really need to get to it.
I'm playing through Mario Galaxy right now.
I'd play Rock Band more often but I don't exactly have the most comfortable setup, which is sad because I LOVE playing Drums. I almost stopped playing, but then I found "Game Mode" :).

I play a ton of Classics. Between GameTap, XBLA, Wii VC, my SNES, old games I still have on my computer, etc.

I'm anything but Jaded, but so many new games just dug their own graves for what comes down to very similar reasons.
Fucking BORING endings ("A New Family Has Joined Your Party! \o.", and, "We Made These Criminals, We Made You, You UNMADE These Criminals! People suck! GO US!!!"), pitiful ending fights, and just the general repetitiveness after a significant part of the game has been played.

Dead Rising was a very frustrating game, VERY frustrating. It wasn't until I restarted past level 30 that I actually survived all the way through (and fucking remembered to SAVE from when I DIDN'T survive). But the game was good the whole way through, and that kept my attention, and I kept playing it.
The game ended in a massive letdown, but what's this? THE GAME ISN'T OVER! And while the tank fight was kinda easy, it wasn't pitiful, and the fight to get there was very interesting.

I still need to play Metroid: Corruption, oi.

Dead Rising is absolutely my favorite game on the 360. It's basically a black/off-color comedy along the lines of movies like Dead Alive and Dr. Strangelove. The scenes where people get dramatically sniped in the head while Frank is more worried about the brains on his shirt make that game hilarious. The absurd bosses with such black humor and gore make this game so much fun. I have beaten it about 6 times over and never had a problem with the game's level ability as long as you map out where everything is like weapons and health pickups and remember to save frequent. The save system is something I love. It makes a risk of venturing out into the horde of zombies re-created like in the days of Dawn of the Dead. You're worried about going out there and have a legitimate risk of survival.

Different strokes for different folks. I'm a huge horror buff (can't wait for Diary of the Dead) and thought Dead Rising was awesome.
