BTW, I am really looking forward to this game especially at the $29.99 price point. Anyone else picking this up that already owns the GC version?

I don't have the GC version, though I did rent it once when my brother had his cube down here...

I already own the GC version and i rented and beat the PS2 edition... The Wii version is supposed to have the extra things that the PS2 version had... Although its cool that it will have wii-mote functionality, im not going to buy a game that i already own and beat several times...

I do hope this is a one time thing and Nintendo doesn't keep porting over GC games to solve the drought... Its nice but they are going to have to convince me a little more to buy these ports than just adding motion sensor controls... Maybe if they added WiFi play to Mario Kart DD i would get it...
