Orange Lounge Radio

What's up, guys? I run a weekly Hold 'em tournament at 10 PM central on Saturdays on XBL for the Allgames community, and I figured I'd invite the gamers at Orange Lounge to join in on the fun, too. My gamertag is therobd (shocking, right?), so drop me a line there or pm me in the #orangelounge chatroom (I'm usually idled there) if you'd like an invite. I send them out at exactly 10, so make sure you're around so you get into the table.

The rules are pretty simple. It's regular Texas Hold 'em on the Xbox Live Arcade. There's no entry fee or anything, and anyone who has a 360 and Hold 'em can play. It's laid-back, but don't go all-in every hand just because it's not real money. We want a regular game of Hold 'em, and we want to have some fun without playing like drunken fratboys.

We've had a healthy turnout the last few weeks and have needed two tables, so here's what we've done: We play until we get down to 4 people on each table, then we regroup for a final table, and the winner of the final table gets to pick a prize from the pile we've grouped together.

DerrickH won last week, although some people say he had outside help from Major Nelson, Satoru Iwata, Nolan Bushnell, and Tomonobu Itagaki. We're investigating the dispute at the moment, but no charges have been made, so his win stands.
