just got my first drummania, and im already pretty good at the drums, with that said what kind of controller should i get

Topway / Third Party Controllers suck. Not to mention the bass drum setup is an abomination.

If you can get your hands on it (which shouldn't be hard seeing as GF/DM V came out) get a First Party Konami controller.
Otherwise, a USB Yamaha drum kit/set. Good stuff ;).
