Yeah. It sounded like a culmination of reasons.

a) They prolly figured V1 wasn't going to sell well.
b) They didn't want to confuse the brain-dead general public who might buy an expansion disc, only to return it, not knowing they needed the original boot disc

Meanwhile, KR went on be Time's Video Game of the Year... eh, whatever. KR2 looks to be pretty fun. Definitely a more broad range of songs, I can say that much.

You can see that just in the 3 songs that have been announced so far... I don't recall there being any Country in Volume 1.

Just as long as theres some modern stuff in there too that doesn't suck, I'm cool :P

It sounds allright. Thanks for the news.

I wish they would just do the expansion pack though, would I have to shell out another $50 or are they making it cheaper for the people that already have KR?

They're looking at a $39.99 retail price. Sounds reasonable, considering it's 35 songs, which is roughly 3 expansion discs. You figure 3 discs @ $14.99 each x 3 = $45. Why not combine them all, save on packaging, and throw in new features and make it an entire new game for cheaper?
