Extreme 2 better?

Hey, we haven't forgotten our roots as a Music Video Game station. Talk about DDR/IIDX and all that note smashing here.

Do you believe that Extreme 2 will be better?

Yes, of course i do.

Extreme 2 came and went.
I played it at Roseville Golfland.
It was very purple.

(haha)

I have the PC version of DDREX2. Probably because I made the skin.

Err, you need a "No" answer with no overrated songs thing, because that's not what I think will make ExUS2 suck. I think that Konami is mainly whoring the CS versions of the game. They're making lower quality CS mixes when they could be working on a new arcade mix.

Shouldn't this be in General Bemani Discussion though?

Requirements (In My Opinion) For DDRex2 Not To Suck:
*Bag
*Somewhere Over The Rainbow
*Living In America
*R3
*Moonlight Shadow
*E-Rotic Songs
*Sakura Saku
*Better CGBG'S
*The Foot And Meter System
*More Songs, Less Minigames
*Story Mode (Sounds Sexy)
*Online
*Song Packs (Free)
*New Chars
*Challenge Mode Mods For Normal Play
*Bring Back Song Speed To Training Mode
*Score Porting From Older Games (The Ideal Way Would Be To Instead Of Have Data For Each Game, Have A DDR Folder On The Memory Stick With The Scores For Each Song, Make Song Data Universal Between Games)

That's About It 8O Long List lol (I'm Hard To Please)

EX2 looks to kick ass. My birthday conveniently happens next week, so I'll have the money, and a shiny new Ignition 3.0.

And I doubt we'll see Moonlight Shadow again for a while since it was on UM2.

Of those on your list, here's a rundown:

*Bag - I can't say for sure...
*Somewhere Over The Rainbow - Somehow I doubt it, I think they've named all the existing/new licenses already.
*Living In America - ditto.
*R3 - I don't know which PS2/XBOX versions if any this is on, but you never know...
*Moonlight Shadow - I think this one's in UM3, actually.
*E-Rotic Songs - one's already confirmed.
*Sakura - if the V-Rare/Sampler CD's any indication, Sakura should be in EX2.
*Better CGBG'S - Can't confirm yet, as I haven't played it.
*The Foot And Meter System - You should see the screenshots, it's easily the best song select screen yet!!!
*More Songs, Less Minigames - There's still some Eyetoy compatible stuff, though it sounds like it'll be toned down (or at least I haven't heard as much about them, so I assume that's the case.)
*Story Mode (Sounds Sexy) - That's in UM3, though we're getting some similar modes.
*Online
*Song Packs (Free) - somehow, I don't think so. (unlike the XBOX, not every PS2 is equipped with a HDD, so there's nowhere to put the new songs/bgs/banners)
*New Chars

And as I've said in the past, this mix is gonna blow the doors off anything that's been released for PSX/PS2 so far, from what I have seen!!

Moonlight Shadow was on UM2, and somebody over at DDRFreak sent Konami cookies as thanks.

And Sakura will be on both EX2 and UM3. Possibly Daikenkai as well.
