You know guys, I was thinking. Designing our own card game from scratch would be a lot of hard work.. but it would definately be more fun and would be marketable as a commercial product to raise fund for OLR if need be. What do you guys think?

Well in that case we'd have to rebuild the game from scratch, as I don't think WotC's lawyers would like the game as it is now.

It doesn't make any sense for OLRCCG to be a creature war, anyway. What would be appropriate would be to have 100 Continuity Points and for the actual conflict, you "disrupt" players' concentrations until they lose all Continuity and become distracted.

I think we should go ahead and start a system from scratch. I'm not too good with designing game systems, but Robbway and VxJasonxV, you guys seem knowledgable in this area, would you like to spearhead this project?

Instead of "Upkeep" we can use "Reset"
Instead of "Tap" we can use "Tilt"

Well don't worry about it too much; as mentioned earlier in the thread, the game will definetly undergo an overhaul before its finished so it's more than just an M:TG expansion (since if we ever decide to actually publish actual real cards we would have WotC's lawyers all over us if we released it as-is.)
