Gorillaz over?

Postby gism82 » Thu Apr 06, 2006 1:44 pm

from NME:

The future of Gorillaz has been thrown into doubt after Damon Albarn admitted 2005's 'Demon Days' is "probably the last album we make".

i really hope we see a third album before they call it quits! :(

I seriously doubt Damon would let it go like that. Not with the amount of popularity the band's got lately. Especially since he refuses to bring a new guitarist to Blur...

I would like to point out that this is topic #666 on our forums. Congratulations.

As far as Gorillaz go, artists do this all the time. He'll get creative inspiration again and do another album I'm sure. If he were quitting because of conflicts with people maybe that would be a different story...

Personally I don't buy it. Darksaukra has a point: They have been getting a lot of popularity lately, so, odds are, they are going to be here for a while.
But hey, it's my opinion! :P
