Looks like the character of Harry will be played by that blond chick. I think they should have kept to the original script, still looks better than anything else video game related ever (except mortal kombat which I actually liked :-P)

I think it looks cool, i can't tell though due to the monstrous lag of the yahoo site. Does anyone have a link to a direct download?

Thanks, found it on game trailers here http://www.gametrailers.com/player.php? ... mv&id=9004 aswell.

Ok this movie looks great, although it's a bit strange that she's able to call her husband and also that there seems to be alot more people inside the town, infact there are actually any people inside the town!

Well, the theory goes that the monsters in the town are actually the residents...

That trailor doesn't look bad at all, I may check it out if it hits town(where movies are $5 because the theatre is old..heh). Although I've never played the game either, maybe I should some day. I really don't care for Resident Evil though so I just assumed I wouldn't like this either(although to note, the first RE movie I thought was pretty good too, the 2nd one blew).

The official site of the movie www.welcometosilenthill.com has had an update since the posting of the trailer on Yahoo. There's some PSP wallpapers, IM icons and such. Browse around the pages for a little while, and you'll get a nice creepy surprise...

Yeah I got that don't get me wrong I'm playing through the first game now so I understand, but during the trailor you see a whole bunch of people running into the church to get away from "it" only originally silent hill is a ghost town save for the monsters and a few characters.

Also there was NO contact with the outside world.

And on top of that how could she have contacted her husband when what she's actually going through it shouldn't be possibkle to get him involved at all! (for those of you who have completed the game you should understand this)
