There are many moments in your gaming life that you just remember and go "Ahhhhhhh, that was great"

One of mine is last summer, my twin brother, (who of course grew up with and has the same interest in gaming I do) brought over a game called: Mega Man Anniversary Collection.. All the Mega Man games were perfectly ported over from NES, SNES and PS... Playing that just opened a flood gate of memories of trying to beat Dr Wiley and his robot army.

Or playing Zelda II when the battery wouldn't work to keep a save file saved, so one Thanksgiving, my brother and I beat the game without saving it, took us all day though.

Also what comes to mind is getting sent home from high school due to flooding ( I went to Rio linda) and on the way home I rented Resident Evil 2 from Blockbuster... a very addictive game at the time.. In about a month, I was able to beat the game without saving a single time on both scenarios... I also hooked it up to my VCR to record the accomplishment, so somewhere at my Mom's house, I have the whole game taped.

I was six. Maybe eight. I don't know, it was when I was a little kid.

Anyways, I was over at my grandparent's house for the usual thanksgiving deal and my uncle had a Sega Genesis with a copy of Street Fighter II. He let me play and I was instantly hooked on the game. I played for hours until I finally made it up to M. Bison, who I used a few continues on, but I still kicked his ass on the third try or so. That was the first game I ever beat in my life. Ever. It was a very proud moment for me.

Dhalsim rocked. I mean OMGSTRECHYARMZ!

Tonight is one of those moments.

I beat Mario 64 with only 16 stars. No, it's not an Emulator/ROM hack/cheat.
You can do this on the original cart as well (I just don't have an N64...)

I just remembered a moment...
Playing Super Metroid, fighting Mother Brain, all of a sudden, you almost bite it, when the Metroid that had remembered Samus from the previous game came out and started sucking out that bitches life only to transfer it to you, then it DIES,,, that almost made me teary eyed , but then you got your revenge in the end, didnt you Samus

Hmmmmm.... I don't really know what is the greatest but the latest was Christmas eve where I just came back from pulling an all nighter of gaming with many friends and I go home and sleep only to wake up a little later thinking about how I was going to get new games the next day and stayed up all night beating snake eater. Best way to go through such a great story, NONSTOP!!!!

I beat Super Mario World when I was 4. Seriously.

owing a minute on max2 with 228 perfects 29 greats 1 miss in sandles when it's been awhile since i've played a max2 at all

(edit) no, i don't know why the fuck i played in sandles when i knew damn well that i was gonna play when i went to six flags

I don't see how people can play in sandals or barefoot...

mine was beating conkers bad fur day on N64 without dying.

Another one was recently when i was playing ninja gaiden and beat the devil woman Alma... it was 10pm and i was cheering when i beat her, and my family wasnt to happy that i was doing my victory lap around the living room...
