Yeah on one hand I'm sad we didn't do a show this week so we could have said something about Jack Voldemort's latest media blitz, but on the other hand, at this point saying "Jack is horribly mis-informed on the gaming community" is the equivilent of reporting "The sky is blue". I'm getting kind of tired on seeing articles about his antics dugg or stories on him showing up everywhere. If people would stop writing about him, the impact he has would be significantly lowered and he wouldn't be invited on shows like MSNBC or wherever else he's been media-whoring recently. I can only think that at this point he's the village idiot and people digg stories on him to point and laugh and make themselves feel better? :? I really don't know.

People talk about it because the things he does are crazy and unexpected enough to be noteworthy.

But you're right, the huge media coverage is pretty much exactly what he's going for.

OLR should continue to comment on LORD VOLDEMORT's doings but should limit it to a 45 second segment each week and then never speak of it again. :)

I believe the opposite.
I believe that he needs to be pushed out of the media, by that I mean that no one (except maybe those affected) should report on him.

GamePolitics has free reign over him considering the subject matter (not that I have any say over any news outlet, but this is just my opinion), as did Kotaku when Brian received word that the site was reported to the FBI. (The picture Brian chose for that article was PRICELESS, by the way. Also cool to see that he's in Denver...) But I don't believe anyone else needs to bring it up time and time again.

I just don't think that he needs to be brought up in the news, at all. A month without JT news is like a snowy week in Arizona, IT JUST DOESN'T HAPPEN! He needs to get de-barred, fall from the spotlight, and go on and live out the rest of his own private life in peace (hoping that he learns to close his yapper in the process...).

It's sad that these articles even get brought up, because it brings out the worst in dumb kids commenting on the internet.
Something in the vein of:

If you thought Jack couldn't go any lower, well think again...

Seriously, it's people like him that make the world a bad place...

Gamers are considered by normal people to be cretins.

What the Japanese are doing to our kids is insensitive and racist. The Japanese have for a very long time dumped pornography into this country in a fashion they would not tolerate in their own country. It is another version of Pearl Harbor.

That's all the quotes I need to despise Jackie-chan.

I guess it doesn't help that Crack Potson is suing Wendy's in that case...

That is offensive on so many levels.

That Kotaku article wrote:Sounds to GP as though Thompson and British Parliamentarian Keith Vaz, another Manhunt critic, will be teaming up.

Ugh. That Keith Vaz is a disgusting specimen - he jumps on board every bandwagon he can.
