Looks so beautiful... but $500? That's £300! :? Not even Google Maps on the go will make me pay that much. Your thoughts?

It's exclusive to Cingular until 2009, so that's when I'll get one, cuz I ain't leaving T-Mobile.

4Gig iPhone=$499=20Gig PS3
8Gig iPhone=$599=60Gig PS3
I'd rather get a PS3,,,
I'd expect the iPhone to have a 32Gig flash harddrive version for $499,,,

When I saw that advertisement I seriously wanted to throw my phone in the trash... Then I had second thoughts like... "Its not coming out till June" and "I have a contract with Sprint that I just renewed until Janurary 2007  "

So it will be some time until I get my iPhone.... I actually wanna get one before I buy a new iPod, which was going to be this year cause the HDD is dying in my iPod and I plan to fix it myself (I have knowledge in electronics, computers, and taking apart both...) Afterall I do have my PC Technicians certificate so, I dont have to worry about breaking it.. Or I hope I wont... But anyways though.. I really like the iPhone, but i wanna see the whole keynote speech, and i cant get the keynote to load on this computer to save my life... So I will have to go downstairs to see it.... Or install iTunes on my other computer.

Later guys.

btw... it's not about the storage capacity or the phone capabilities. it's about the portable os x touchscreen computer that just has those features... And that to me is worth $500.

Hrm. I need to replace my ageing iPod mini (which currently has a battery capacity of about 10 minutes). But, since the iPhone won't be coming out til next Christmas here in the UK, it seems as though I have no choice but get a regular iPod for now. Or, y'know, get a new battery.

I heard its got only like 5 hrs of battery life. Whats with that, who wants a phone that you have to charge every 5 hours??

5 hours for talk/music/video/whatever else you do on the thing, and SIXTEEN (16) hours standby. I, personally, think the battery life is unacceptable, especially since it has such a hefty price tag. The phone can't even STANDBY for a whole 24 hours!
