There was an official PC release, but I don't think it was very good.

It was terrible... The engine was 4th Mix, the unlock system was typical (Play songs to unlock songs, but you also have to get AAs on 5 songs to get all of them, I think), there was no All Music mode, and I don't think there were any licenses. From what I remember, it was basically a stripped-down Konamix.

Oh, and the characters ... yeah. They included most of the original DDR ones, and added about the same number of new ones as downloads. They ranged from nice to annoying to Christmas and Hallowe'en to BDSM. Yes.
