I dunno, Xtofer seems very determined over this whole thing.

And I'll be flat out honest, I already had fast food this evening after the show. HOWEVER to my credit, instead of my usual burger & fries, i had a chicken cibatta sandwich with no mayo and no fries! So there's hope for me yet lol :lol:

Hell, I'm even going to try to eat better starting tomorrow (what? I wanted some of the Halloween candy that people brought in to work today). I'm not saying I'm gonna switch to all salads and/or grilled chicken, but I'm going to stop eating double cheeseburgers and chicken fries so damn often. If I find a scale today, I'll weigh myself for the hell of it, in part because I should fucking know, and in part because I was estimating my weight as around 200 and a dude I was working with was saying "bullshit" about me weighing that much.

EDIT from home: Went to the rec center attached to the library after I posted this and found out that I wasn't that far off with my guess. I ended up guessing about 5 pounds lower that I actually weigh, so I get to tell that one dude to piss off. :P

Misty, if you want to "shadow" our compeition that would be like, the biggest compliment ever to what we're doing. Jamie will be very very very pleased.

Everyone, if you want to participate, weigh yourself sometime today or first thing tomorrow morning. You don't have to share your weight with the rest of us but write it down somewhere. Maybe keep a spreadsheet in Excel if you know how to use that.

Enjoy your halloween candy :)

Halloween

Postby joe_zakoor » Tue Nov 01, 2005 9:14 am

I think Halloween would be everyones "breaking point" lol, I know if it were me, it would be *MY* breaking point, since Ive already eaten a bunch of snack sized Kit Kat's, and tons of Recess Butter Cups.

I'll have you know that I had no Halloween candy at all. I'm not a huge candy fan. In fact I hate most candy.

I envy you! Although candy is quite the treat, I'd love to hate it! That leaves the other basic taste-groups that you may like. Which is it? Salt, Sour, or Bitter? I'm guessing Salt AND Bitter, a beer and pizza man?

Good point. I'll keep that in mind for the days I wait for my mom after work and have money. ^^; ... And I could bug the family for Subway gift certificates for Christmas since they won't get me a DS. ^^;;

There's actually lots of good tips and advice in the Obesity thread on DDR Freak. Of course, any advice I can offer, I'll be glad to.

I found out why I've been plateaued for a year now. STRESS. My doctor said so.
