PSP Internet Radio Player

Postby pkjr92 » Mon May 12, 2008 7:25 am

Yesterday I listened to the Bobby Blackwolf Show and OLR on the psp's official internet radio player. The quality was really good, and there were no interuptions, except for the times I disconnected and tried to reconnect. I have a couple questions:

1. Is there any way to set presets on the player, or is there another player that will work with the official sony firmware? Sometimes it was hard to find the All Games stream.

2. Is there any psp compatible way of irc chatting? Listening live is great, but I want to chat too...

I know an answer to question number 1.

Sony was SUPPOSED TO release a computer program to allow this,,, but they haven't yet, i think,, BUT...

there is a modded radio player that works with official Firmwares called FreePlay

I'll post a guide/ a version of it with Allgames in it and how to add other stations

here soon

While I do find the "official" PSP Internet Radio Player horribly designed, I do want to point out that it does "remember" the station you were last on. So if All Games is the only station you listen to, then as long as it's the station playing when you shut down, it should be the station playing when you turn it back on.

At least that's been my experience.

Yeah, but I've been having problems with the player, and sometimes All Games doesn't maek the list.
