I usually talk about the game before starting to mention the song, but what else is to say about The Legend of Zelda series? If you haven't played any of the games, you really can't be called a gamer.
The song was composed by the great Koji Kondo, who's also responsible for the Super Mario Bros. theme and many other great Nintendo game soundtracks. This song is the definition of "epic" in video game music, it's really emotional and energetic, no other like it. Truly fitting of a hero like Link and a series like this one.
The song has had many arrangements and remixes throughout its whole 25 years of existance, and each one has its own ring to it, but the emotion is still there. You can't help but feel tingles on your skin.
